I am a veterinary surgeon. Pet owners and GP vets send me the cases that need a surgeon's eye: second opinions, diagnoses that do not add up, quotes that feel wrong, recoveries going off script. Send me yours and I will give you an honest written answer.
Fixed fee confirmed before you pay a cent.
Every case is read and answered by me, not a panel or a call centre.
I am not quoting for the operation, so my only job is being right.
You get a written opinion you can hand to your treating vet.
If your question has the word surgery in it, it probably belongs here.
Is the diagnosis right, is the operation warranted, is this technique the right one for this animal.
Whether the number in your hand is fair, what is driving it, and whether a legitimate cheaper pathway exists.
A post operative course that is not going the way you were told it would, read independently.
Major surgery or goodbye, weighed honestly, with the odds stated plainly and kindly.
The form takes five minutes. Records, imaging and the quote make my answer better, and I will tell you how to send them.
From $250 depending on complexity. You decide with the number in front of you, before paying anything.
Plain language, reasoning shown, built to be taken back to your own vet.
Yes. I am a registered veterinary surgeon practising in Australia, and my registration details appear with every opinion I issue so you can check them.
No, and I will not pretend otherwise. Australian rules require a physical examination for prescribing, and treatment belongs with your treating vet. What I provide is the expert read that helps you and your vet decide well.
Then I will say so when I confirm scope, before you pay, and point you somewhere better suited. I only take cases I can genuinely help with.
Send me the case. Fixed fee confirmed before you pay. From $250.
